Roland Boutin
Co-Founder & Director
Developing an interest in hairdressing came naturally to Roland – whose family ran a successful salon in South of France, but it was his formal training with Vidal Sassoon London and Jacques Dessange Paris that solidified his passion. Working alongside prominent names like Jean-Yves Bouley, Lucie Saint Clair, Jacques Dessange and Jean Francois Lazartigue, he quickly earned his place among the top stylists in Paris. During his time at Dessange, he worked as a trainer at the Dessange Academy Paris as well in the flagship salon.
In 1996, he fulfilled a dream to move to Asia when he joined the team at the newly opened Dessange Hong Kong. From 2003 onwards he has continued to build a cosmopolitan clientele as Director of one of Hong Kong's most reputable hair and beauty groups. Now, as Founder of BRUNEBLONDE since 2013, another dream has become a reality – the establishment of a salon designed to be a hub of talent in the heart of Hong Kong.
David Gouygou
Co-Founder & Director
With a dynamic personality that matches his creativity and artistic style, David is widely considered one of the leading stylists in Hong Kong. Born in France, he credits his career choice to a cousin who guided his early training that ultimately took him to Paris at age 18. There, he worked under the tutelage of renowned stylist Jacques Moisant from whom David observed and learned the importance of "artistry" in his craft. Having worked at both flagship salons of Jacques Moisant and equally renowned Lucie Saint Clair, his experience in Paris encompassed salon work as well as creations for the fashion runways.
From Jacques Dessange in Paris, he ventured to the Dessange Taipei Salon, Taiwan in 1994 thus marking his move to Asia. In 1996, he joined the new Dessange team in Hong Kong. Since then he has cultivated a loyal clientele while at the creative helm of one of Hong Kong's leading local salons.
With a special eye for hair coloring and styling David does the best Balayage color in town, acclaimed by all his clients. Together with his appreciation of every individual's own character and style, David's cut and colour are unique and designed with class.

Sheila Chung
Artistic Director
With a background of 28 years experience in both the Hong Kong and International hairdressing industry, Sheila is widely considered as one of the leading hair stylists, as well as known to be one of the very best and few all-rounded stylists in town. From cutting to coloring, perming to straightening, a flair for working with hair.
Sheila worked as Trainer and Artistic Director in High end salons, such as Kim Robinson, Salon Esprit and Le Salon for over 20 years. Her work has appeared on the covers of internationally renowned publications including Hong Kong Tatler, Vogue and GQ setting the trends in hair today. Sheila firmly believes that beauty differs from person to person. As an international hairdresser, she is fascinated working with different hair textures, discovering beauty through bones and souls, scalp and face shapes, to find the perfect proportion. A great style also means to manage with ease. Sheila aims to bring each clients’ unique natural beauty and transform their hair to become virtually effortless.
Known for her ability to create the unique cut that will compliment not only style but also lifestyle, Sheila’s bespoke service is sought after amongst an A-List clientele. From photo shoots to fashion shows, she accentuates only the finest features and well defines the word ‘Beauty’.

Alistair Rae
Creative Director & Oribe Artist
Originally hailing from Scotland, Alistair Rae brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the hairdressing industry. With a genuine passion for hair, Alistair’s dedication and patience are unparalleled as he works tirelessly to help his clients achieve their desired hairstyles. Prior to his current role, Alistair successfully owned his own salon and later served as the Art Director and Salon Manager for Toni&Guy in Cyprus, where he also played a key role in the Toni&Guy education team.
Having relocated to Hong Kong 8 years ago, Alistair has garnered a strong following due to his exceptional cutting and coloring skills. His meticulous attention to detail and extensive knowledge of color have established him as the go-to expert for color transformations, corrections, and achieving the perfect blonde look.
During his time in Asia, Alistair had the honor of serving as the personal stylist for Drew Barrymore during her promotional tour in the region. His work has graced the covers of prestigious magazines such as Elle, Harpers Bazaar, and Precious. Alistair has become the preferred hairdresser for local celebrities, working backstage at concerts and participating in various photo and video shoots. Notably, he led the hair styling for the remarkable Design Army production for the Hong Kong Ballet, leaving a lasting impression with stunning images throughout the city.
Alistair has had the privilege of styling numerous brides, ensuring their hair looks exquisite on their special day. His calm, friendly, and caring demeanor puts even the most nervous bride at ease, while he creates breathtaking hairstyles for the occasion.

Hamish Glianos
Hair Stylist | Director of Men's | Business Development Manager
Hamish Glianos joins Bruneblonde as Hairstylist and Business Development Manager. He works closely with the founders and salon directors to provide a luxury experience for customers.
Hamish is an award-winning international hairstylist with 30 years of experience as an industry educator and celebrity stylist. Career accolades came early on for Hamish, who was Australian Apprentice of the Year at age 19, while training with the esteemed Stelios Papas. He then moved to London where he studied the art of educating with Mahogany Hairdressing, presenting at global hair shows. He built a strong industry name and his deep partnership with Mahogany paved the way for him to help them open their first flagship salon in Australia, where Hamish developed a talented salon team and a fresh education system that was new to the country.
During his stint in Australia, he led the hair team for the Australian MTV Awards, Australian Idol, X Factor and The Voice. In 2015, Hamish moved to Hong Kong where he led business development for various established hair brands. His client base continues to be an eclectic mix of stylish local and expat customers.
Rayne Yip
Director
With over 15 years of professional experience in Hong Kong, Rayne has established himself as a prominent figure in the hair and beauty industry. His meticulous attention to detail and unique sense of style are a testament to his extensive background in working with luxury brands such as Chanel, Bottega Veneta, Gucci, and Cartier at various fashion shows. Rayne’s editorial work has been showcased in prestigious publications such as ELLE, Marie-Claire, and Cosmopolitan Magazine. Additionally, he has collaborated with renowned male singers including Eason Chan, Aaron Kwok, Jacky Cheung, and actor Ron Ng.
In his personal life, Rayne finds balance by engaging in simple activities such as watching movies, cycling, or playing badminton with loved ones. He also has a passion for travel and takes every opportunity to explore new destinations around the globe.

Having honed his craft in reputable salons, Alan annually journeyed to Japan to refine his techniques and stay abreast of emerging trends. His meticulous and seasoned approach makes him the ideal choice for both men and women seeking a new stylist for all their haircutting, styling, and blow-dry needs.
With a prestigious clientele that includes Eason Chan and the Amway CEO, Alan is known for his professionalism, efficiency, and keen attention to detail. It is evident that Alan takes great pleasure in his work, evident in his warm, friendly, and patient demeanor that ensures a pleasant experience and exceptional results for every client.
Driven by the satisfaction of his clients, Alan’s passion for the hairdressing industry shines through in his work every day. He is available for haircutting and styling services from Monday to Saturday.
Sing Chan

Sing Chan’s passion for hair blossomed after spending over a decade working alongside top Hong Kong Hair Stylists. His love for creating beautiful hair led him to form an unbreakable bond with the industry.
With a passionate, creative, and approachable personality, Sing has earned the trust of numerous professionals. His work has been showcased in prestigious publications such as Hong Kong Tatler and magazines in Dubai. Collaborating with the editor of Vogue Hong Kong further solidified Sing’s reputation in the industry. Recently, he has crafted stunning hair styles for various Hong Kong artists and celebrities, showcasing his dedication to his craft and his commitment to fostering creative exchanges.
Sing’s thirst for creativity and innovation drives him to constantly explore new ideas. Inspired by nature, he has designed three hair pieces with an ocean theme, one of which, the Cnidaria, has been beautifully framed and is now part of a private collection. In addition to his work at BRUNEBLONDE, Sing actively participates in diverse creative projects outside the salon, including commercial advertising, magazine shoots, and studio projects.
Throughout his hair journey, Sing found immense joy in serving as the personal assistant to David Gouygou, Co-Founder of BRUNEBLONDE, where he honed his expertise in color. He draws inspiration from the unique style and vision of Roland Boutin, Co-Founder of BRUNEBLONDE. Sing takes pride in witnessing his clients radiate confidence and beauty, and he remains dedicated to further developing his creativity to continue achieving this.
Sing is available for appointments for color, cut, and styling services from Monday to Saturday.
Van Chan

Van’s creative styling and talent have been cultivated over a span of more than 15 years in the Hong Kong salon industry. Her unique style effortlessly aligns with the latest international hair trends, all while catering to the individual needs of her clients. Working closely with celebrities such as Sharon Chan, Kenneth Ma, and participating in the Miss Hong Kong Pageant series has continually pushed her to exceed her own standards.
Van’s cheerful and sociable demeanor not only enhances her work within the salon, but also reflects a vibrant and balanced lifestyle outside of it.
Will Chan
Hair Artist
With a unique background that includes training as an architect, experience as an art curator, and a love for hairdressing, Will has trained with top professionals and worked with an international clientele. Will specialises in the French dry cut technique, creating a personalised, wearable style. Her passion is to keep hair looking natural and flowing, with a goal to turn hair into a work of art that you can wear every day.
Will believes it’s important to understand her clients’ lives, paying attention to what they want and how they feel, knowing that a new haircut or color can reflect changes in their lives. Every client is special, and Will wants them to leave feeling amazing.
